The feminist movement in the basque country: problems and challenges
| This paper is about the contemporary situation of the feminist movement of the spanish basque country.
In a first moment we will try to situate the birth of the basque and spanish feminist movement in order to see which the historical ans political context in which it was born.
In a second step, we will present a map of the situation of the basque feminist movement nowadays which will let us see the diversity of this movement but also its features which make it different from the movement in other places.
In a last moment, we will try to fix the chanllenges and problems to which the basque movement has to face, making special attention at the production of collective identity in a extremly heterogeneus movement.
