I was wondering if H-Laborites could help me out. I am currently doing
research on the AFL(-CIO) in post-WWII Europe, particularly its
involvement with the Mutual Security Agency's Labor Information Division.
One of the interesting questions which has come up involves the
celebration of May Day by European unionists. My query then is can anyone
out there suggest some good introductory histories of May Day and Labor
Day?
